From The Manager's Desk...

February is traditionally a very busy month at the Club. If you come here for dinner, please be sure to give your name to our Hostess for a table. Be mindful of our Wait Staff who have to navigate their way around the Pub with hot plates. Large parties are encouraged to dine in the small dining room. Tables cannot be moved together in the Pub to accomodate you, so please do not ask.

Please watch your children and remember that they are not allowed on the elevator or the second floor of the Club unless accompanied by an adult.

Your cooperation and patience are appreciated in advance.

- The Manager

Discover Irish Literature!

Did you know that the GAC has both an Irish Literature Group AND a Member's Library?

The Irish Literature Group meets monthly (except during the summer) to discuss Irish Literary works.

The GAC Library is home to over 2,000 books and videos by Irish-born authors.

Click here to visit the Irish Literature Group's website.
Click here to visit the GAC Library's website.

You can also access both of these sites by clicking "Activities" above!

Please Note...

  • The tables in the Pub are arranged specifically to allow fire door access as well as member and staff accessibility.
  • Tables are NOT to be moved to accomodate large parties. The small dining room is available for larger parties.
  • Children are not allowed to dine unsupervised in any room.
  • For safety reasons, children are not allowed on the elevator or on the second floor of the club.
  • Baby changing stations are provided in the Men's and Women's Bathrooms as you enter the building, in the Handicap Stall.
  • When parking at the GAC, please pull your car fully forward and keep between the lines so as not to hinder other members.

Your cooperation as a Club Member is appreciated.

We have put together a list of Irish Music Radio resources that are available in our area. Please visit www.gaconline.org/irishmusic.html for more information!

You've Got Pictures!

Thanks to Ed Hagerty, the menu button previously labled "Expansion" has been renamed to "Photos". Clicking it will bring you to the GAC Photo Albums which include Expansion photos, New Year's Eve photos, and photos from the Grand Re-Opening & Dedication. Please send us any pictures you have so that we can continue to expand our albums.

It Is The Law...

The State of Connecticut requires that all club members sign-in any and all non members they are bringing into the club.

If you do not comply with this law, you are putting the club's liquor license in jeopardy and you are also jeopardizing your own membership.

The sign-in book for non members is on the desk at the front entry.

Although we have a group of dedicated volunteers on the Failte Committee that greet and assist people entering the club, it is not staffed at all times. More volunteers are needed. It is a great way for new members to meet people. If interested, contact Sue Allen.
