Con and his family came to CT in 2000 from Dublin, Ireland. Con has been singing and playing guitar for a long, long time. He had been a member of and had formed several traditional and musical folk and ballad bands over the years. Con and his sister Judy (who came over in 1998) got together and formed CAMAC in 2002.
The Coracles are an Irish folk music quartet from New Haven county playing songs made famous by the Clancy Brothers, Tommy Makem, The Dubliners, The Wolfe Tones, and many others.

“The Crickstones” have been a long term band playing at the Gealic American Club. Their sound has been evolving into a crisp blend of folk & americana style over the years with many originals songs and tunes intertwined in their repertoire. The Crickstones consist of Liz McNicholl (guitar), John Hurley (guitar/mandolin), Fred McKay (bass), and Peter Blossom (dobro/guitar). Their self titled Crickstones debut CD was released Oct 2009 featuring many of their original tunes!
The Ghost Riders band plays Great American Country music from the Classics to Contemporary Country, including some Western Swing and Line Dance Favorites. Expect to hear a good dose of George Strait, Toby Keith, Travis Tritt, Johnny Cash, Bob Wills, Waylon & Willie as well as newer acts like Billy Currington, Zac Brown and Blake Shelton. It isn’t all about Country though, as the band will regularly draw upon their vast repertoire to include Rock and Pop Classics from Eric Clapton to Judy Garland, as well as some traditional Irish favorites.

The Highland Rovers were formed in 1993 by three men from Fairfield County, combining a huge harmonic vocal sound with extreme energy. The evolution of the band has been a synthesis of creativity, energy and an intuition about what the fans are looking for when they come to a Highland Rovers show.
Evolving originally from a larger band known as Give Liam A Shout, the group known now simply as, The Irish Band, is a familiar sight at Irish venues in Stamford and the GAC. The band consists of John Donnelly on bass and vocals, Bern White on drums and vocals and John Hurley on quitar and vocals. They continue to make music the old fashioned way, with skill, innovation, and a copious amount of beer.

The Kurt and Helen Band is a classic American Rock band playing a cool mix of Rock n Roll and Country Rock from Linda Rondstadt, the Stones, the Allman Brothers, to Johnny Cash and Brooks & Dunn.
The band got its start when founders Kurt and Helen began singing acoustic versions of rock cover songs with original harmonies. Kurt and Helen are strong and sensitive vocalists with one goal in mind: to create incredible original harmonies in the Rock and Country Rock genres.
With voices based in choral and classical music, our sound adds texture to Rock and Country Rock while our band, comprised of the area’s top musicians, lays down the groove. Get ready for an amazing sound!
Our regular lineup includes John LaCava and Tim Dehuff on guitar, Jimmy Johnston on guitar and pedal steel, Mark Bridgman on bass, and Joe Kos on drums. Mostly Green Band was formed in 2007 by Michael Dougherty – bass and vocals uniting his friends Joe Tadduni – guitar and vocals, Gerard Huerta – solo guitar and vocals, and drummer Scott Logan who all share a common of love of The Beatles and classic rock. Mostly Green often performs their own tribute to the Fab Four along with the best of classic rock, blues, country and equal amount of dance, funk and disco to keep audiences up on the dance floor. Veterans of the local club scene, the band has also performed at Oyster Festival, Earth Day Festival, FTC Music Festival, Island Belle cruises, other area attractions and is proud to have a home in the pub at Gaelic American Club in Fairfield!

Once Removed debuted on St. Patrick’s Day, 1988 – 27 years ago! Originally comprised of first cousins “Once Removed” John Hurley on guitar and vocals, and Pat Speer on lead vocals, the band has expanded over the years to now include, at “full tilt”: Fred McKay on bass, Peter Blossom on guitar, Tim “T-Bone” Stone on keyboards, and Jim O’Donnell on harmony vocals. They have played proudly at the GAC for all of their 27 years, and the Irish bar scenes from Glastonbury to Stamford as well.
They play the roots of American Rock n Roll influenced by the likes of Fats Domino, Professor Longhair, Little Feat, The Funky Meters, Alan Toussaint, Delbert McClinton, and Chuck Berry. The Hurricanes are a group of veteran musicians who will rock the house. Guaranteed to get things movin’.

Sharon O’Meara and Pat Burke have been playing together for about a year and half! As you all know Tommy Goodwin and myself played for many years on the circuit! Pat was born in Co Longford but grew up in the United States. We play all over the tri-state area, and travel to Chicago, Boston, and Florida. Our Florida trip will be coming up Jan 20th for six weeks!
